Arsene Wenger has been the busiest of managers, looking to beef up his squad against next season, and a number of players have been heavily linked with Arsenal. Notable players are England International and Leicester City striker Jamie vardy, Swiss International Ricardo Rodriguez and Mkhitaryan.
Arsenal triggered Vardy’s £20m release clause last week, and the England striker verbally agreed a deal worth £120,000-a-week. The proposed move stalled after Leicester tabled an improved deal worth around £100,000-a-week.
It’s believed that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is still hoping to complete the signing of the Leicester City striker before England first game against Russia.
International Business Times, reports the Wolfsburg Sporting director, Klaus Allofs look ceertain to losing Rodriguez, and he confirmed the left back is keen on a move to to Arsenal, as reported by Swiss publication, Blick.
Klaus Allofs was quoted to have said,
He said, “As we have recently talked it was clear; his idea is to leave us.”
The fact that Mkhitaryan share the same room with new Arsenal recruit Granit Xhaka on Internationals, and According to Evening Standard the player was quoted to have said he will like to follow Granit Xhaka, his Swiss team mate to Arsenal, his deal might fall through sooner rather than later.
If the three deal is completed this week, Arsenal fans will for the first time in a long while believe Wengers title intents. The following players are on the table for Arsenal to grab as soon as this week.
