ALMOST DONE – Arsenal Close To Signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan

According to Express, Arsenal are close to signing their long-time target Henrikh Mkhitaryan from German side Borussia Dortmund, as the attacker has refused  a new contract with the Bundesliga club.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is hell bent e to sign the Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder, who was one of the best performers in the German Bundesliga last season, According to Independent,

The Armenia international joined Borussia Dortmund from Shakhtar Donetsk back 2013 and has been a key player for Dortmund.

Mkhitaryan, 27, scored 11 goals and assisted 15 times in the colors of Borussia Dortmund  last season. In the Europa League last season, he scored 7 goals. Mkhitaryan is believed to be worth £25 million.

Arsenal has already raided Borussia Monchengladbach this summer, signing Swiss International midfielder Granit Xhaka and is hoping for a positive response from Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy after activating his release clause.

Granit Xhaka will have to battle with creative midfielders like Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla for the first team place.

Arsenal is in pole position to sign the Armenia International as lack of Champions league football at both Chelsea and Manchester United means Arsenal have a massive chance of signing him.

Arsenal should sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan quickly before mega rich clubs like PSG and Man City
come in for the player because Arsenal need a replacement as three Arsenal veterans Mathieu Flamini, Tomas Rosicky and Mikel Arteta, have all left the Emirates.
