Leicester City has received more inquiries for midfielder N’Golo Kante than for any other player in their squad.
According to the Daily Star, Premier League giant, Liverpool is the latest to indicate interest in signing Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante.
It is reported that Jurgen Klopp is prepared to sign the midfielder ahead of his rivals Arsenal and Chelsea as he attempts to beef up his squad.
English giants Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been linked with the midfielder and the foxes believe the 25 year old French international is the most likely to leave the club this summer.
It’s believed that Arsene Wenger is interested in the midfielder and is prepared to trigger the £22m release clause in his contract.
Arsenal fans will be happy with this latest report claiming Kante will reject a move to Arsenal rivals Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United and will favour a move to Arsenal because he is keen on Champions League football; something which only the Gunners can offer him next season.
It is reported that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho sees him as a younger version of Claude Makelele who played a pivotal role in the Portuguese squad in his first stint at Chelsea. Chelsea also reportedly needs him to shore up their midfield which looked light last season.
Wenger need Kante to replace Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini who are on their way out of the club.
Kante played a pivotal role in Leicester City’s title winning squad of last season and the French International is reportedly open to a move away from Leicester this summer.
