Henrikh Mkhitaryan To Become A Gunner In SHOCK Deal Of The Summer?

Henrikh Mkhitaryan agent has revealed what is regarded as a shocker to the ears of Arsenal fans as he said that his client wants to join Manchester United this summer and he claims that the move would present a unique opportunity for the Armenian Internmational.

Mkhitaryan, 27, has only one year remaining in his contract with BVB and the Bundesliga side would want to cash in on him before his contracts elapses at the end of next season as he has refused to extend his contract with the club.

Hans-Joachim Watzke, the Dortmund director, confirmed that the 27-year-old winger has refused to extend his contract with the German outfits, though he claims they are unwilling to let him leave the club and are ready to bear the financial burden for their failure to request a fee for the player.

“Now we know that it is not been extended, but it was never our idea to allow Mkhitaryan leave us prematurely.” – Hans-Joachim Watzke said.

Mkhitaryan agent, Raiola, who has been in London to force a possible move for his client, has been in talks with Arsenal FC over the player’s future. Shockingly, earlier this week, Raiola said that Manchester United might be the potential destination for his client amidst interest from Arsenal.

“Micki has for months maintained that he may leave the club this summer. Dortmund presented an official offer, which was rejected, but now the BVB bosses fear their own fans.

Suddenly… they tell Micki, that he should go next season on a free transfer. This is very bad management,”  Raiola said.

“Manchester United is a unique opportunity, Micki wants to go there,” he added.

The update from Raiola is a huge blow to Arsenal as they have been the forerunners to get the signature of the Armenian winger.

Mkhitaryan who had an outstanding season with Dortmund has been chased by many clubs including Premier League giants like Chelsea and Tottenham. He help the Bundesliga side to a second place finish in the Bundesliga, in which he scored 11 goals and made 15 assists.
