According to Daily Star, Premier League side Everton are in talks for Porto striker Vincent Aboubakar, and the club is expected to pay the Portuguese side £18million for the striker.
The Powerful Cameroon international, scored 16 goals last season for FC Porto, and he is thought to be a replacement for the supposed departure of Everton and Belgian Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku is one of the most sought after striker this summer, with Arsenal, Juventus, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain said to be eyeing the forward.
Arsenal are said to have made contacts with the Belgium international, who Everton reportedly want £65 million for their 22-year-old star but that fee could be driven down if Lukaku requests to leave Goodison Park. However, some other reports claim a bid of £45m has been accepted by Everton for the player.
With Everton interested in Vincent Aboubakar, the Gunners are now free to sign Lukaku. According to Italian journalist, Emanuele Giulianelli, claim Arsenal have agreed terms with Lukaku over a contract.
“Despite Chelsea pressing, Arsenal has agreed personal terms with Lukaku. An offer will be submitted,” Giulianelli tweeted.
However, conflicting reports in Italy claim Lukaku could also be heading to the Italian Serie A. The Big Belgian scored 25 goals for Everton last season and the club are under no obligation to sell one of their most prized asset now as billionaire investor Farhad Moshiri has bought into the club.
