Judging by the intensity of reports linking Arsenal to the signing of one striker to the other, it is obvious Wenger wants to sign a striker this summer. But having been rejected by Jamie Vardy who chose to stay at Leicester City, Arsenal are set to suffer yet another transfer target.
According to the Skysports, Arsenal target Moussa Dembele has signed passed a medical with Celtic and has signed for the Scottish champions. The 19-year-old attacker was linked with a move to Tottenham last January, the fact was reportedly close beforee Fulham, his then club stopped the move.
This summer, Arsenal were said to have made a bid for the player which was rejected by Fulham. According to BBC, A source close to the player said; “Arsenal have been interested in him for months, they have watch in many games this season. They think of him because of (Danny) Welbeck’s injury.
“Other big (teams) in England such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are interested.’
The Frenchman scored 17 goals for Fulham in the Championship last season, he was voted into the Championship team of the season which explains why so many big clubs are interested in him. Hopefully Arsenal don’t end up regreting not signing the former PSG striker.
