With two signings made so far but still no striker, Arsenal fans are getting worried that Wenger and his men are yet to bring in a striker. Unfortunately, Arsenal target Zlatan Ibrahimovic will reportedly arrive Manchester United this week to have a medical with the old Trafford club and sign a year contract.
The 34 year old is currently a free agent having left PSG following the expiration of his contract. On Thursday afternoon he confirmed on Instagram that he would be joining Arsenals Premier League rivals Manchester United. However, the Manchester club is yet to confirm the move or make a comment about the transfer.
Arsenal has once again missed out on an opportunity to sign a player which an Arsenal legend believes he is a good player. The Gunners are missing out in a player who guided PSG to four successive Ligue 1 titles, scoring 38 league goals. That number of goal from a single player could secure Arsenal a Prenier league title.
British Tabloid the Guardian now report that Zlatan will arrive in Manchester on Friday to finalize the deal. The paper also reports Zlatan has agreed a contract worth £220,000-a-week with the Red Devils.
Last season Zlatan scored 38 goals in 31 Ligue games for PSG, and he contributed directly to 51 goals, more than the United squad managed as a whole.
