Aside a striker and a centre back, Arsenal many Arsenal fans believe the club could do with the signing of a classy right wing forward. This is as Theo Walcott has faltered to deceive since signing for us. However, one of the internal solutions for the right wing is set to leave the club on a one season loan to gain more game time. According to reports, Ainsley Maitland-Niles is on his way back to Ipswich Town for the whole of last season.
The high rated and very versatile winger spent last season on loan with the tractors. He had a good start to his loan spells with Ipswich but was injured and was unable to regain his place in the first team. Thing was made particularly worst by the player’s mother after she left an x-rated voicemail for manager Mick McCarthy complaining that the Irishman doesn’t play her son enough.
The fences seems to have been mended between all the parties involved and the player will now hope he can showcase his talent with the tractors in a much better way next season. This move is probably an indication that Wenger is going to bring in a senior winger to the club this summer amidst links to Mahrez, Mkhitaryan, Draxler and Gotze. With Walcott said to be on his way out, surely Wenger is not going to rely on only Alex Iwobi for the right wing.
