It seems Wenger is finally ready to sort Arsenal’s striker problems. A reports by Daily Telegraph claims Arsenal are set to meet with Lyon asking price for Alexandre Lacazette by paying the £34m release clause as inserted in his contract with Lyon.
Same reports also claims that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has met with the agents of the Lyon forward and Wenger is believe to be set to move forward in his pursuit for the French forward.
The boss is so keen in bringing in a striker this summer and has held talks with not only just the agent of Lacazette but as well as that of Lukaku and Morata, having missed out on the opportunity to sign Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy for £20m.
West Ham are also believe to be interested in the French forward as from the report, the Hammers have been very public with their pursuit of the Frenchman and have had bids rejected by Lyon for the player. The player himself is said not to be too keen on signing for West Ham as he sees the Hammers as a step back ward and not forward.
Lacazette has bagged more than 20 goals in each of the past three seasons for Lyonnais, his most brilliant season performance was in 2014-15 when he scored 27 goals in 33 league appearances.
