According to reports Arsenal manger Arsene Wenger is put off by Real Madrid’s £65m valuation of Morata and he is set to dump the Spaniard for Lacazette instead. Reports claim personal terms have been agreed with Lacazette and Wenger is willing to pay the £35 asking price.
Real Madrid re-signing Alvaro Morata using a buyback clause in his Juventus contract, and are set to sell him off for huge profit this summer. The reigning European champions have placed a staggering £60m price tag on the former Juventus striker.
The price tag according has already scared off Arsenal who are believe that it is way too much and it could leave a straight fight between big spenders Manchester United and Chelsea.
Morata spent last two seasons on loan at Juventus but Real Madrid have a £25m buy-back clause, which they activated and are set to use it and sell him on to make a big profit.
It is widely thought that Wenger is set to dump the prospect of signingmorata for Lyon’s Lacazette who is reportedly available for £42 million.
The France and Lyon striker is a proven goal scorer, having scored 48 goals in Ligue 1 over the past two seasons. He is believed to have three more years left on his current contract with the Ligue 1 outfit.
