Brace yourself Arsenal fans as Wenger is about to turn up the heat at the Emirates with the signing of Alvaro Morata. After being runners-up to Leicester city last season, and with the introduction of Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola to the Premier league, seems Arsenal and Wenger would love to build on the momentum of last season’s second position and continue to strengthen Arsenal’s squad.
Morata is currently seen as a surplus requirement to Madrid, even though the Spanish giants just triggered his buy back clause from Juventus and are keen to resell the Spanish striker. Morata who is keen on negotiating an improved contract seems to have reached an agreement with Arsenal
Arsenal is now said to be leading the chase to sign Morata ahead of Chelsea considering they will be playing in the Uefa Champions League and Chelsea won’t even be in the Europa cup and Arsenal are ready to match the players wages demand. Morata is very keen on playing in Europe’s elite club competition and that is something he can achieve at the Emirates.
Morata who spent the last 2 seasons with Italian champions Juventus and lead the attack for Spain during the Euros tournament recently admitted he wanted to join a club that will make him feel important and this is something he can achieve with Arsenal considering the experience of his international teammate Bellerin.
New Chelsea coach is said to have given up on the chase on Morata who is valued at £65m and is currently switching his attention to fellow country man and Southampton striker Graziano Pelle.
