According to reports, Spain international striker Alvaro Morata who only less than two weeks ago returned back to Real Madrid is surprisingly set to remain at Spanish capital club Real Madrid in this summer’s transfer window.
The former Juventus striker was only recently re-signed by Real Madrid in a deal viewed as being the beginning of Real Madrid’s quest to sell him on at a huge profit to finance other transfers.
Initial report suggest Morata could head to the English Premier League for about £50million, with London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal both heavily linked with him in recent weeks.
According to Marca, Real Madrid is now set to reject all offers for Morata as they plan to keep him at the club for the coming season.
Reports indicate London club Chelsea are believed to have failed withtheir initial bid for the 23 yea old, and it looks like he’s worked his way into Zinedine Zidane’s heart and plans rather than just being a bargaining chip for other potential deals.
Despite reports that Morata’s agent Juanma Lopez was in the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu offices on Friday as Chelsea made an initial proposal, it seems Real now want to keep hold of their Spaniard.
