Reports according to the Daily Express claimed Arsenal have held talks over a possible move with Serie A giants Torino for Bruno Peres.
The Brazilian international caught the eye of the Emirates outfit scouts during Torino’s Eusebio Cup win over Benfica on Wednesday night.
Peres only featured for the final 20 minutes of the game, but according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim, his dazzling performance has caught the attention of the north London club.
The 26-years-old agent has reportedly in talks with Arsenal and Torino to conclude the idea of a potential transfer possibly to be completed in the coming week.
In addition, the Italian side are said to be braced for a formal bid from the north London side in the coming days.
The club will however, demand a fee close to £17million, which according to earlier report, the Gunners are, said to have submitted a bid that reportedly deterred Manchester City.
Moreover, the Serie A giants may be reluctant to sell as the Brazilian departure would leave them with Davide Zappacosta known to be the club only natural right-back.
I believe this deal will makes sense for the north London club as we need competition for Hector Bellerin and also, a replacement for Mathieu Debuchy who is set for a returned back to France and Carl Jenkinson continues his recovery from injury.
