Each blessed day comes with another Riyad Mahrez story. With claims and counter-claim from the media speculating, that Arsenal has agreed a deal with the Algerian.
Mahrez to Arsenal it’s the story every Gunner wants to hear and it’s not the story about Olivier Giroud finally shaving off his beard.
To some extent, it’s the report according to the Sun claiming Mahrez will sign for Arsenal “in the next few days” has been a trending subject.
The media points the stunning news according to Algerian media, Le Buteur that the 25-year-old will join Arsenal in a £37m deal.
The Winger was recently linked with a move to the club London rivals Chelsea but the Sun in their report says that was not true and stresses that ‘terms has been agreed’ with Arsenal and all that remains is for the north London club to shake hands with Leicester’s on the transfer fee.
While still on the matter, the Sun also point out that £37m isn’t a bad mark-up for Mahrez who cost Leicester City £400,000 when they signed him from Le Havre back in 2014.
In addition, there could be more good news for us all on the transfer front as we await Arsene Wenger to bring in a new forward to the Emirates stadium with report earlier from this blog stated that Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has hinted, “Jese Rodriguez could be set for a move away from Real Madrid”.
