Forget the football stuff. Off the pitch or whatever, this Torino’s right-back undeniably has everything required to be an Arsenal player.
According to reports coming from Italy, Arsenal have begun talks with Torino over the possible transfer swoop of Brazilian right-back Bruno Peres.
Gazzetta World are reporting that former discussions have started between the north London club and the player after the Gunners scouts attended Torino’s friendly match with Benfica on Wednesday.
The Brazilian defender didn’t even up to play 20 minutes against the Portuguese champions but appears to have proved his worth enough to convince the north London club that they want to sign the 26-year-old.
There have been reports earlier last week that Barcelona, Manchester City, Bayer Leverkusen, and VfL Wolfsburg have been looking at the defender.
The report also went on claiming that his agent has held formal talks with both the Gunners and Torino with the club set for Arsenal first bid in the coming days.
The Serie A club are expected to demand fee in the range of £17m for the Brazilian defender which sum had earlier put off Manchester City earlier this summer.
It’s however, amazing that we are being strongly linked with the Brazilian right-back given that we have a top player already in that position that is Hector Bellerin, as well a adequate and reliable backups Calum Chambers and Mathieu Debuchy.
