Arsenal’ according to report from the Sun are getting close to signing Federico Fernandez, who joined Swansea City from Napoli back in the summer of 2014.
Despite the Argentinian playing behind Wales international Ashley Williams at the Liberty Stadium, he has become a solid defender in the Premier League and for the Swans.
The report from the English media also went on claiming that the Gunners may have to pay £10m for the service of the centre-back, but Fernandez is not the only Premier League defender on Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger list.
The Mirror suggest that the Frenchman has his eyes set on West Bromwich Albion centre-back Jonny Evans who’s likely be the French boss possible cover for Per Mertesacker though, the Northern Irishman would cost Wenger £15m.
The 28-year-old impressed for the Albion in the last campaign having joined them from Manchester United a year ago, and the defender appearances in the top flight – as well as for his country at the just concluded European Championships seems to have impressed Wenger to push a move for him.
With two names now on the Frenchman list, Sky Sports in their report claims that the Gunners are in talks with Valencia to sign one of their star Shkrodran Mustafi, this reports shows that the boss is willing to bring reinforcement for strengthen the Gunners defensive option.
