Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is keen on bolstering his attacking options ahead of the upcoming Premier League season opening match against Liverpool where the Frenchman could be without FIVE recognized first-team players.
Antoine Griezmann is reportedly seeking a move to the Emirates stadium ahead of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to well-known Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.
Arsenal have been linked with almost all the players in the world in this transfer window but the manager Arsene Wenger still managed to signed Swiss international from Borussia Monchengladbach Granit Xhaka, Bolton defender Rob Holding and striker Takuma Asano a Japanese international.
Now, Italian reporter Giulianelli claimed that the Gunners have been monitoring the Atletico Madrid star this summer with a view of possible summer transfer.
The report from the Italian journalist also goes on to say that both Manchester United and PSG have also shown huge interest in the European Championship top-scorers, but the French forward would favour a move to the Emirates stadium.
However, Giulianelli concludes by revealing that a deal with the Gunners might seem not possible, as it is uncertain if the north London club might not be able to complete the transfer move for the Frenchman due to the transfer fee expected to be involved.
Arsenal finished second in the Premier League table last season and 10 points behind surprise champions Leicester City in the top-flight table.
The Gunners kick off their new Premier League campaign with a home clash against Liverpool on 14 August at The Emirates.
