Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
There are reports coming from the Star claiming Arsenal will make a shock move for Wilfried Bony in the club attempt to boost their attacking options ahead of the upcoming 2016/17 Premier League season and more importantly a new forward to start the front-line against Liverpool on Sunday.
The report went on claiming that the north London club are considering placing a bid of £30 million for the Ivorian forward though the club manager Arsene Wenger has yet to make up his mind whether he’ll be going for him.
The forward could be a good addition for Olivier Giroud, and the Citizens are believe to be set to listen to offers from top suitors in need of the services of the Ivorian and also if they could earn a £5 million profit on the 27-year-old.
The report also confirmed Bony cost the Citizens £25 million when he made his move from Swansea City to the Etihad Stadium.
Under the club former City manager Manuel Pellegrini, the Ivorian never seemed to settle down under the manager and this has saw him down the pecking order under the new manager Pep Guardiola for Sunday’s 3-2 loss to the Gunners.
Following the loss at Sweden, the Spanish coach was noncommittal about his future and said, he still remain a City player “at the moment.”
