Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has recently that he is keen on strengthening his defensive options before the transfer get’s shut down following the club recent loss Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista to long-time injury.
Valencia’s and German international Shkodran Mustafi is believe to be on the Frenchman radar in bringing him to the Emirates, but the La Liga £50m asking price is now likely to force the north London club to shift attention before the deadline death. The transfer window is believe to get shut down by August 31.
According to The Sun [via Sport Mole], claimed Tisserand is holding out for an official approach to Arsenal as he’s keen on moving from the club this summer. He’s been previously linked with a possible move to Espanyol recently.
Tisserand can play both at centre-back and at right-back, but has been unable to hold down a starting spot at Monaco and has previously spent time on loan at Lens and Toulouse.
Jonny Evans is another potential target for Arsenal, although he is also understood to be out of Wenger’s price range.
