£140,000-a-week ace signs Arsenal contract after paperwork finalized – reports

Mesut Ozil has signed a new contract with Arsenal, according to recent report. Report according Football Insider claimed that German playmaker has agreed to a new contract extension with the Gunners.

It is said that Ozil indicated to Arsenal before the summer that he would be willing to sign a new terms with the club as long as he got the deal he want in which is said to include wearing the No. 10 Jersey vacated by Jack Wilshere who’s at loan at Bournemouth FC.

Arsenal are also believed to be in negotiation with Chilean international Alexis Sanchez over a contract extension.

There was report according to The Mirror earlier this week claiming that the German new contract with Arsenal would see his salary elevate from 140,000-a-week contract to £200,000-a-week.

He has his best season at the Emirates Stadium in 2015-16, which he recorded 19 league assists, just one short of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry’s record, and helped us finished to a second-placed last season.

To total it all, Ozil has netted 22 goals and notched up 43 assists in his 124 games for Arsenal  so far.
