Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Arsenal’s and German playmaker Mesut Ozil is said to be in discussions over a possible move to Turkish side Fenerbahce next summer, according to Turkish news outlet Hurriyet has cited by Goal.com.
The report came out of nowhere and it’s been widely speculated that the German playmaker is said to have talked about the possibility about a future move to the Super Lig outfit during a recent visit to Istanbul.
Turkish The Gunners are hoping to tie the Germany international down to fresh terms, keeping him at the Emirates beyond the end of his current contract which expires in 2018.
Fener, though, are plotting to take him to Turkey at some stage, with Ozil having previously expressed a desire to turn out for the club he supported as a boy.
This rumour has come from nowhere and I’d personal would be shocked would not be glad to see the back of Ozil at the Emirates. However, if Arsenal do not win the title this season, we would not only be waving an emotional farewell to Arsene Wenger, but to the German as well who had been a blessing in disguise for us since his move from Real Madrid in 2013.
