Official ! – Arsenal To Sell £250-A-Week Star To Buy ” £51m-rated Kun Aguero “

Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.

There have been intriguing rumour here reported by UK’s media outlet The Week claiming Arsenal may be looking to selling playmaker Mesut Ozil and use the money to vie for Man City forward Sergio Aguero.

The report is according to The Week which read,

“According to The Sun, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs are all “keen on signing” the player described by the paper as an “outcast” at the Etihad. To add even more spice to the situation, Barcelona are also eyeing up the unsettled Argentine amid reports that Pep Guardiola believes it is time he moved on.

The player may agree, and the Sun says Aguero “is weighing up his options” after being left out of the City squad for the games against Everton and Barcelona, and that is what has aroused the interest of his suitors.

Arsenal are said to be the most enthusiastic of the English posse hot on the tail of the South American sharpshooter. But the Sun warns the Gunners that while City are seriously considering Aguero they are “unlikely to sell to a direct title rival”.

Aguero would likely cost an arm and a leg but Arsenal may soon have the readies to meet any exorbitant asking price because, according to the Daily Star, Mesut Ozil “has held secret talks with another club”.

Labelling the news a “transfer bombshell, the tabloid claims that the German playmaker travelled to Istanbul over the summer to chew the fat with Fenerbahce. That, in the eyes of the Star, at least, means that Ozil could be set to leave the Emirates for one of Europe’s second tier teams.”

Wenger move for the Argentinian’s pedigree would be a wise move and there are still question marks remaining over the suitability of the summer signing Lucas Perez along with Olivier Giroud’s inconsistency, although Giroud scored had two in the Arsenal vs Sunderland 5-goal thriller match.

At the moment, it doesn’t seem so. Starting forwards, Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez, have been in excellent form this season with the latter continuing his impressive form with a recent brace away against struggling Sunderland.

And that form doesn’t appear to stop anytime soon. Add to that, Arsenal possess two decent forwards in Lucas Perez and Giroud to call upon when necessary.

On the other hand, Ozil is a very important player for the Gunners. He really is their one, fully-fledged playmaker. A world-class player, who has the ability to alter a game with a moment of genius.

He’s become the heartbeat of Arsenal’s attacking endeavours and at 28, the Germany international is at the prime of his career.

To me, locking Ozil down to a new contract is more imperative than seeking a top-class, yet injury-prone, forward.
