Official ! – Arsenal Linked With £68million rated Phillippe Coutinho

Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.

According to reports, Liverpool have placed a £68m mouth-watering price tag on Phillippe Coutinho who had appeared as a transfer agent for both Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona and Arsenal.

Report emanating from France claimed the Reds are ready to listen to offer in the range of £68m to part ways with the forward. The Brazilian has emerged as one of the best players in the Premier League since arriving in 2013.

Coutinho has stepped it up a notch this term and he has scored four goals in 10 league outings so far, attracting the interest of two of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Liverpool are said to be bracing themselves for January interest in their star playmaker and now Le10Sport has reported that the Merseyside club have named their price.

It has been suggested that they have quoted the chasing pack a fee of €75m for Coutinho, who remains under contract until 2020.

That would be worth around £68m at the current exchange rate which would represent a huge profit on the £8.5m they paid Inter to land him in January 2013.

However, it would still come as a surprise for Liverpool to sell arguably their best player at any price with their title push in full flow.

It’s still remains to be  seen if manager Arsene Wenger would be willing to slap such mouth-watering bid for the Brazilian international.
