Arsenal will have to make a mouth-watering £80million to see the signing of Andrea Belotti, who is on the verge of putting pen to a new deal with the Serie A club.

We’ve been said to be keeping close tabs on the 22-year-old for over a while, who has bagged 13-goals in 15 games for club and country so far this season.

As per report from talkSPORT this week, Torino president Urbano Cairo has revealed that the Italian outfit are planning on a new contract to chase off interest from Arsenal – while Premier League rival clubs Everton and Liverpool also remain interested.

However, it appears that talks have progressed quickly and report emanating from Italian media Gazzetta dello Sport via talkSPORT revealed that the striker’s agent is expected to finalise the contract this week.

One of the key terms in the deal is the inclusion of a new minimum fee release clause which will be set to £80m, while his form will be rewarded with a new annual salary of £1.3m.

Arsenal reportedly attempted to land the 22-year-old forward during the summer after he scored 12 goals in 35 Serie A games last term.
