ARSENAL will send defender Rob Holding out on loan in January, according to reports.

Holding he played just three Premier League games for the Gunners since joining from Bolton in the summer.

The England U21 star cost Arsenal £2.5million.

But manager Arsene Wenger supposedly wants him to get more playing time elsewhere to improve his game.

That is according to the Sunday People, who claim Holding has plenty of suitors in the Championship.

The report adds that a number of Premier League sides may also be keen on landing the Englishman on loan until the end of the season.

Holding, 21, has played seven games in total for Arsenal this term, having been forced to start their opening-day clash with Liverpool following a defensive crisis at the Emirates.

His last appearance was in the 4-1 Champions League away win in Basel, where he started at right-back in place of Hector Bellerin.
