Arsenal Ready to Sign Alex Iwobi Replacement, £65,000-a-week Contract Offer Made

Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.

Although Alex Iwobi has done considerably well for Arsenal on the left-hand side of their midfield since he broke into the first team during the middle of last season, it is still widely believed that Arsenal could do with the signing of another winger.

This is despite the fact that the club has the likes of Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jeff Reine-Adelaide who can also play on both wings. Thing is, Arsenal are well stocked in terms of numbers on the wings but not so in terms of quality. Walcott’s form has always been on and off and never consistent while Iwobi is still seen as an inexperienced player who could do with the help of someone more experienced and better than him.

However, it appears Arsène Wenger has not given up on bringing in a new winger to the club. The Gunners are currently being linked with the signing of soon-to-be free transfer, Rachid Ghezzal of Olympic Lyonnais.
