Arsenal have confirmed that Ben Sheaf has signed an extension with the Gunners.
The North-London club, who is now second in line for the Premier League title following Sunday’s 2-1 victory against Burnley, awarded the youngster the extension for constituting the integral part of the club’s youth team.
The England Under-18 international has made 12 appearances in the Premier League 2 for Steve Gatting’s under-23 squad.
The midfielder, who is yet to make his senior debut for Arsenal, joined the Gunners from London rivals West Ham United back in 2014.
The England international was part of the Arsenal squad that won the Under-19 international football tournament in 2015, where he won the Player of the Tournament honour.
Sheaf has been on the Emirates’ bench for two EFL Cup games this season but since he is highly rated by the club, he is sure to make his debut soon enough.
