Arsenal could buy Barcelona forward Rafinha in a potential swap deal that would see Hector Bellerin leave the club in the summer, as per reports from Marca.
The Spanish newspaper stated that the 24-year-old want to depart from the La Liga outfit in order to play regularly in the first team next season and increase his chances of being called up to the Brazil national squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The report claims that a move to Arsenal would favor the Brazilian as the Gunners are the perfect club to bring out his full potential as their playing style is similar to that of Barcelona.
Marca also suggest that the North London club believes the forward would improve the play of the current squad due to his versatility.
Rafinha is reportedly valued around £26million but Barcelona are willing to negotiate the price as long as Arsenal full-back Bellerin is thrown into the mix for a move to the Camp Nou this summer.
This story follows up from the report in Catalonia based publication Sport who claimed that Bellerin is edging closer to a move to the La Liga giants as he has recently purchased a new house in Barcelona.
The Brazilian forward played 28 games across all competition for Barca in the previous season, picking up seven goals and five assists.
Rafinha’s current contract at the Camp Nou is valid for another three years.
