Wojciech Szczesny seem to be a forgotten property of the Gunners. Having spent the last two years on loan, the emergence of Cech at the Emirates made him drop further down the pecking order.
But recently, the goalkeeper has begun to make headlines over the last few weeks as he was linked with a move to Juventus, but according to The Sun, he is far from concluding on a deal. As reported in The Sun, Arsenal are driving a hard bargain over his move, asking for £20 million form any club that wants him, whilst Szczesny himself wants out of the club this summer.
It really does not make any sense if Arsenal decides to hold on to the 27-year-old simply because he is unlikely to be given more playing time as Petr Cech is still at the Emirates. At his age, he needs to be on the pitch playing more often, and at Arsenal, that would simply be impossible.
He has ben of decent form over the last few years, and so is asking price should be sizable – it will just come down to who really wants him and how much they are willing to pay for his signature.
