Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.

Arsenal have reportedly submitted an offer of £22 million to Juventus for their star winger Juan Cuardrado, according to reports in Colombia (via the Metro).

The reports claims that Arsene Wenger have personally requested for the addition of the former Chelsea star to the Gunners squad and that the two clubs have already commence negotiation.

Arsenal are clearly in the market for a winger with them being heavily linked with a move for Thomas Lemar and Riyad Mahrez, and Cuadrado is the most recent name linked with a move to the North London club.

The Colombian’s deal with the Italian Champions was only made permanent in May, after two seasons loan spell, but it appears he could be on the market for sale this summer.

The reports further stated that Juve would be willing to accept €30m (£26.3m) and claim Paris Saint-German and AC Milan are also eyeing the player.

Cuardrado is no stranger to the ways of the Premier League, of course, after he spent a brief time with Chelsea, although it was a rather ill-fated spell with the Colombian swiftly going on a loan spell to Juve.

He has looked more fulfilled in Serie A where he has won two Italian titles and the Coppa Italia twice, as well as helping the team to the Champions League final last season.

Cuadrado made 21 league starts last season, finding the net twice and providing six assists, for Massimilano Allegri’s men.

While Arsenal seem intent on signing a winger this summer, it’s difficult to ascertain how credible this report is.

A move for Thomas Lemar is looking difficult due to Monaco’s reluctance to release the player and, at the moment, at least a move for Riyad Mahrez seems far more likely.
