La Liga club Real Betis are planning to make an offer for wantawy Arsenal striker Lucas Perez this summer, as per Don Balon.

Thre Spanish news media claims that the 28-year-old is a target to replace the club’s all-time top goal-scorer Ruben Castro, who looks ready for an exit this summer.

It is said that Perez is hoping rfor a move abck to Spain next seaon and fellow Spanish side Sevilla are also in pursuit of the striker.

The report claims that Betis would be rich enough to purchase the Arsenal man as they are destined to receive a huge amount of money from the deal that will see midfielder Dani Ceballos move to La Liga champions Real Madrid.

Perez is not the only Premier League player to be linked with a move to Betis asEstadio Deportivo recently reported that the Andalusian club were leading the race to land Chelsea youngster Pasalic.

 

The Spaniard was excluded from the official Arsenal pre-season squad to travel to Australia as he looks set to leave the Emirates Stadium after just one season at the club.

The striker only managed 11 Premier League appearances last season where he failed to complete the full 90 minutes.

Perez is still contracted to the Gunners for another three years.
