Arsenal are likely to lose Caen striker Yann Karamoh to another club, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, despite submitting a better offer compared to their rivals Inter Milan.
It seems the French Under 21 international would prefer a move to the Serie A club if the report is anything to go by. There could yet be possible complications in the deal for the forward though.
Di Marzio says that as the 19 year old has entered into the final year of his deal at the Ligue One side, the Italian club are unwilling to offer beyond the €5million they have initially offered for the player.
Whether this will be acceptable to Karamoh’s club Caen, it remains to be seen. The teenager bagged five goals and provided four assists for his teammates in 35 league games last season. He mostly played on the right hand side rather than in his favoured central position, but his performances have no doubt impressed Arsene Wenger with a reported bid already submitted.
