Arsenal have been left disappointed after making enquiries about Bayern Munich winger kingsley Coman.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is a huge fan of the 21-year-old and has been considering making a move that would take him to the Emirates this summer.
According to French TV programme Telefoot, Wenger recently decided to make a bid and he made enquiries on Conan’s availability.
However, he was left disappointed after he got news that Coman wants to remain with Bayern Munich and the Bavarians have no plans to sell him.
Wenger could have been looking at Coman as an alternative to Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, who is a long-running Arsenal target.
Monaco have lost a number of key players this summer and are not keen on selling Lemar, which means so far the Gunners’ effort have been futile all along.
Bayern Munich signed Coman, initially on loan, from Juventus in 2015, before then buying him permanently.
The France international came through the youth ranks at Paris Saint-Germain.
