Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing to make an offer worth £80m for Chile International forward Alexis Sanchez, as per the Independent.
The Ligue 1 giants, who acquired Barcelona superstar last week in a world record deal of £200m, have been heavily linked with a move for the Arsenal star to the French capital ahead of the 2017-18 season.
The 28-year-old, who has 115 international caps for his country, found the net 30 times and provided a further 19 assists across all competitions for the Gunners last season, who finished fifth in the Premier League standings.
Sanchez, who transferred to the Emirates Stadium back in July 2014 following his move from La Liga outfit Barcelona, has netted an impressive 72 times in 144 appearances overall for Arsene Wenger’s side, winning two FA Cups and the FA Community Shield.
However, with the Chilean also a top transfer target for Manchester City this summer, the report suggests PSG are readying a £80m bid for the Arsenal ace, and willing to offer the player up to £400,000-a-week, in a bid to beat Pep Guardiola’s side to his signature.
