Chelsea have stepped up their interest in signing Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and are to offer the club £25m to sign the player, according to reports in the British media
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Blues are ready to actively pursue and try to sign the midfielder from their Premier League rivals ahead of the new season.
The same report claim that Chelsea recently increased their interest in signing The Ox from the Gunners, but that Arsenal have turned down the club’s initial enquiries.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is in the final year of his current deal at Arsenal, meaning he could leave the club for free on transfer next summer.
