Done ! Arsenal Beat Elite Clubs To Sensational Youngster’s Signature – Medicals Tomorrow

Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.

Arsenal have joined Spurs and Manchester City in the race to sign 18-year-old Fenerbache wonder-kid Oguz Kagsn Guctekin, with the Turkish outfit having already turned down a £4.5m bid from Man City for the midfielder, according to reports in the Sun.

City’s bid for the youngster was confirmed by Fenerbache’s president Aziz Yildrim, with the Sun reporting that the offer was worth around £4.5m.

Scouts from both Arsenal and Spurs have also been keeping tabs of the teenager’s progress, with the north London side’s now ready to join the race to acquire the Turkish starlet’s signature, as per the Sun.

Should either clubs wish to secure the signature of Guctekin, they’re going to have to cough up more than £4.5M that was offered by the Sky Blues, as the bid from Pep Guardiola’s side was rejected by the Turkish Super Lig side, as Yildirim insisted that the club have “turned down the offer” from City for the player, report the Sun.

Should either English club manage to bring Guctekin to England, it will be interesting to see whether the teenager breaks into the first team, or whether the player will be loaned out first in order to gain more valuable first team experience.
