According to reports in Turkey, Galatasaray are reportedly planning a possible loan transfer deal for Alex Iwobi this season.
The Turkish club’s sporting director, Cenk Ergun, is allegedly negotiating a deal with Arsenal and willing to travel to London to meet in person next week in order to complete the deal.
Iwobi, 21-year-old is yet to make a start for Arsenal this season and has only played for 11 minutes in the league so far. However, it would be unusual for Arsene Wenger to allow him to leave since while he’s not exactly an out-and-out starter, he made 39 appearances across all competitions, 26 of which were in the Premier League, last season.
Iwobi first broke into Arsenal’s first team during the second half of the 2015/16 season after coming through the academy’s ranks.
