Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Former Borussia Dortmund boss, Thomas Tuchel will not become the new manager of Arsenal because there will be no vacancy in the summer according to Raphael Honigstein, meaning Arsene Wenger will still be at the Emirates Stadium next season to manage .
Tuchel had reportedly agreed a deal to join the Gunners in the summer and this set off a bit of a social media frenzy amongst some fans.
Raphael Honigstein [@honigstein] on Tuchel to Arsenal: “All the indications in Germany, in London, is that he’s not going to Arsenal for the very simple reason that Arsenal have a coach who is not leaving.” [BBC] #afc pic.twitter.com/WFh1C4ZAMG

But the report always seemed odd given the fact that there is no actual vacancy at Arsenal and it looked very much like Arsene Wenger would see out the final year of his contract.
Thomas Tuchel is going to make up for year out of the game by taking on three jobs at once – Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Chelsea, with PSG also entering the race.
Of course, he isn’t really, but it does show how little real information is out there and how much is guesswork and agent games.
