With the month of January already flying through, it should be no surprise that a number of transfer rumours are starting to emerge with each day that passes.
Arsenal are no stranger to being linked with transfer stories, and their will be questions about whether Mikel Arteta will look to do any business this winter to try and improve his squad.
Indeed, there is an argument that the Gunners should be looking to add as they have not been as good as many would have initially have expected the club to be after winning the FA Cup and the FA Community Shield.
However, their Premier League form has been abysmal at times despite their best efforts to start climbing up the table recently. Whether Arsenal are trying to adopt the same kind of strategy that would be found when playing a game at a place like acepokies will work remains to be seen.
Fichajes, though, have claimed that creativity could be the order of the month for Arteta and Arsenal and have since subsequently linked the Gunners with a move for Barcelona teen, Riqui Puig.
The Spanish media outlet – which translates into ‘Transfers’ – has claimed the La Masia academy graduate could be the subject of a potential loan move in the current transfer window.
Barcelona could be prepared to let the talented midfielder leave this season on loan, as Ronald Koeman believes he could benefit by developing elsewhere for the time being. He has made 22 appearances for the Catalans and has achieved three assists, but has not featured for the Dutchman from the start at all.
However, with a number of midfielders already at the Emirates Stadium, it could be difficult to see the talented Puig arriving this January.
Thomas Partey arrived from Atletico Madrid whilst Dani Ceballos extended his loan spell from Real Madrid for another season. It could be argued that Puig is still needed, though, as the creativity from the middle of the park is still lacking. In fact, the lack of creativity that has been provided by the current midfield is similar to those frustrations that can be had when not using the best payout casino online that are available.
Emile Smith-Rowe has helped with impressive performances in recent times, but with Mesut Ozil having had his contract terminated, the Gunners have a need for a creative player.
Furthermore, Arsenal have been linked with a host of attacking players with the likes of RB Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer and Paris Saint-Germain’s Julian Draxler both having been suggested as potential transfer targets.
Puig is just the latest, but whether he will look to move remains to be seen as he is prepared to fight for his place in the Barcelona squad.
