Given the way that the start of the 2022/23 Premier League season has started, there will be many that will be hoping it can continue for as long as possible for the Gunners.
Indeed, it has been a while since there has been success of this magnitude to have been experienced by the Emirates Stadium outfit, with even the ability to play in the UEFA Champions League having been something that has not been possible to enjoy.
Nonetheless, the club has managed to recruit well this summer and have been able to acquire a number of brilliant talents that appear to have made the team an interesting proposition for the current season.
Furthermore, many gamblers bet on Arsenal players through Apostas24, which is regarded as a first-rate website with a strong reputation as a popular destination for football betting. Gamblers’ betting intensity changes as the clubs make changes. The three things that gamblers and players will be looking for in the coming season are as follows:
More from Odegaard
Many will have wanted to see more from Martin Odegaard this season, despite the fact that he had had a decent season since converting his loan move from Real Madrid into a permanent deal. Nonetheless, while he managed to achieve seven goals and four assists in the Premier League last year, many want to see him develop further and put up better numbers.
The playmaker currently has three goals in his 10 appearances since taking the captain’s armband, though, so perhaps we are about to see more from the Norweigan this season.
Thomas Partey as the single point of failure
You would be forgiven if you were not fully aware of how much Arsenal actually relies on Thomas Partey in the middle of the park. Indeed, the team looks to be a completely different proposition with the Ghanaian in the middle bossing the game and protecting the defence.
Interestingly, his inclusion appears to allow Granit Xhaka to go further forward, which then provides the club with another attacking outlet in its unlikeliest of forms, thus perhaps signifying his importance. However, the club will need to ensure they can deal with any absence that he may have this season, especially if they want to be able to continue to compete for the Premier League title.
ESR / Martinelli competition
There is no doubt that the connection between Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli could be incredible when everything clicks, however, that does appear to be a little infrequent at the moment. Of course, ESR has recently undergone surgery, so it is unlikely we will see too much of this partnership.
Nonetheless, the Brazilian appears to have been able to thrive when given the opportunity and looks incredibly dangerous whenever he has the ball at his feet. Perhaps he can continue and once ESR can return, the two can use their ability together to form a great partnership.
